Compass: USAID’s First Enterprise CRM Rollout

As Senior Communications and Change Management Lead for USAID’s Private Sector Engagement (PSE) Hub, I led communications for the Agency’s first enterprise CRM (Compass) on Salesforce reaching more than 10,000 staff. I produced fact sheets and marketing toolkits and coordinated pilots across multiple country offices.

Project

Reduce bureaucratic burdens so staff can focus on higher-impact work.
Modernize legacy systems to make private sector engagement faster and easier for staff and partners.
Replace siloed, 25-year-old processes with a unified, scalable approach.

Process

Launched the global communications plan for Compass, USAID’s first enterprise CRM hosted on Salesforce.
Drove change adoption initiatives: business materials, videos, presentations, and live information sessions.
Wrote executive messaging and remarks for senior leaders and global audiences.

Results

Saved more than 50,000 employee hours in the first year.
Benefited 90+ USAID locations worldwide.
Built a 60-member champion network representing bureaus and regions to accelerate adoption and capture feedback for continuous improvement.
