About Me

If it has words, I’ve probably polished them.

Early in my career at the World Bank Group, I traveled the portfolio. Interviewing project teams from Egypt to women’s economic empowerment specialists to ghostwriting for former CEO Kristalina Georgieva video updates to staff. Those field notes became town hall agendas and scripts for leaders, and informed organizational priorities. I sat in the rooms where annual themes were set and then it was my job to reinforce and institutionalize them.

In 2020, I joined USAID, where my contributions to executive briefs helped former Administrator Samantha Power navigate her first 100 days. I also led the communications strategy and implementation for an enterprise customer relationship management system (CRM) that brought industry leads and relationship managers onto one platform, earned Technology Modernization Fund support and set a federal benchmark for technology adoption.

Alongside that transformation work, I supported USAID’s emergency management team on sensitive and urgent communications including evacuation guidance. Behind the scenes, I managed the back end and curated content for USAID’s Operation Allies Welcome and Ukraine-war pages to keep staff informed.

Since then, I’ve directed commemorations and memorials, produced employee engagement campaigns that doubled intranet click-throughs and built messaging playbooks and templates teams still use. My core value is strategy. I build communication plans, and when it’s showtime, I produce run-of-show materials for panels and events.

I’m a journalism graduate with minors in marketing and psychology. I’ve always been drawn to how people think and what moves them to act. Studying global problems put me at the intersection of communications and international development and having lived in the Middle East and surrounded by program officers from the world’s largest nongovernmental organizations providing aid, I found the work I wanted to serve: social impact.

Core Competencies

Executive Communications

I specialize in strategic scriptwriting that delivers a clear purpose and can resonate with audiences from high-level dignitaries and to internal leadership and staff. I use best practices when crafting all-staff emails, town hall scripts, promotional video narratives, or event agendas. I helped create the Executive Onboarding Brief for the Bureau for Management leadership and for the former USAID Administrator, Samantha Power. I’ve written talking points for numerous leaders across the agency all supporting the front office - and legislative reference memos and congressional responses with the communications director. I drafted and distributed the Bureau for Management Chief weekly newsletter to staff. And USAID’s Chief of Readiness quarterly announcements.

Change Management

I’m a Prosci-certified in Change Management with experience guiding enterprise technology implementations and organizational initiatives, including a successful return-to-workforce campaign in 2022. I translate complex IT rollouts, international development goals, and social impact challenges into clear, human centered outcomes that drive adoption and engagement. My approach bridges technical solutions with the people they serve, ensuring change is understood and embraced across all users.

Global Storytelling

I’ve created and managed cross-cultural communication strategies and multimedia content. I supported content managers across external platforms like Medium, LinkedIn, and internal. At USAID’s Private Sector Engagement Hub I produced success stories, video series, and event coverage. And during my time supporting the World Bank Group’s employee engagement team, we started the Regional Engagement Network to ensure our intranet editorial calendar or strategy was reflective and inclusive of all the country offices world bank group works from and supports- closing the gap between HQ focused content vs country offices. I also supported visibility and reporting for the World Bank Group’s Umbrella Facility for Trade, developing success reports, results briefs, and donor materials.

Employee Engagement

I’m an internal communications expert who has developed editorial content strategies for organizational intranets and landing pages, helping embed institutional goals and values across large, diverse teams. At the World Bank Group, I supported engagement for 16,000+ staff through newsletters, intranet content, and staff-wide campaigns that celebrated employee voices, built camaraderie, and boosted traffic to internal resources. My work aligns brand narratives with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and development metrics, turning high-level objectives into measurable, lasting change.
I maintain an active security clearance. Please reach out for writing samples.
